Alicia's Backdrop What is this?
Why?
When I was 5, I wrote a song in which I professed my love that he never knew about.
When I was 9, I sent him a letter telling him I thought he was cute and that I liked him.
When I was 12, I never seemed to talk to him anymore.
When I was 16, I realized that we were no longer kids stuffing rocks down our shirts and that he was not the type of person I could ever see myself with.

Why:
Hours of fun for the family, right?
More like a vicious competition between my friends and I. We once played for three hours only to be forced to stop because the bank was, well, bankrupt.
I enjoy seeing the multitude of variations of the game, my favorite being Catopoly. It has fun cat facts on the back of the property cards.

Why?
I had a customer come into my coffee shop and ask me, "Did you feel balanced yesterday?"
"Well, not particularly," I replied.
"It was the Equinox. Equal parts day and night," he said.
It was a nice moment.

How was it?
Entertaining, witty, scary, profound, elegant
