Alicia's Backdrop What is this?
Why?
I've had a muffler I found on the street in the trunk of my car for three years. Not to mention a giant bag of newspapers. In my closet I've got a bag full of glass from a broken light fixture. My pack-rattery convinces me that I'll need these things at some point in my life. That I'll be working on some art project and I'll finally be able to use that box of doll faces I've had for years.
Chances are, I'll never use these things and it would be best to donate them to better causes. But, you just never know!

How was it?
Entertaining, witty, scary, profound, elegant
Why?
I volunteered at a wildlife center in high school, where I spent hours feeding squirrels. There, I formed a special bond with the species.
Why?
When I was 5, I wrote a song in which I professed my love that he never knew about.
When I was 9, I sent him a letter telling him I thought he was cute and that I liked him.
When I was 12, I never seemed to talk to him anymore.
When I was 16, I realized that we were no longer kids stuffing rocks down our shirts and that he was not the type of person I could ever see myself with.
